INEZ — Martin County High School’s Hannah Robinson and Madden Miller are the Mountain Citizen Players of the Week.
Miller took a hard hit to the nose during the first half of Friday’s football game at Prestonsburg. Adrenaline took over and Miller rushed for two touchdowns on 33 yards.
One touchdown was after he spun out of a tackle and gathered himself to stay inbounds by less than an inch to score the game-winning touchdown.
He had 18 total tackles and five solo tackles on the defensive end.
Miller also found his way through the line to assist with a crucial stop with under three minutes remaining.
He is ranked 10th in the state in Class 2A with 12.8 tackles per game, seventh in fumbles forced, and 40th in scoring with a 6.2 avg.
Robinson finished off her senior season in the district tournament versus Paintsville Oct. 17.
She recorded two kills, two digs and a block for the Lady Cards.
