INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:
Jordan Stacy, 27, of Lovely, was arrested Monday in Warfield for public intoxication and drug paraphernalia buy/possession. Deputy Chris Kidd reported that Stacy was walking on the white line in a curve on Riverfront Road, appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance, had glassy eyes and dropped a syringe containing a needle onto the ground from his pocket.
James Harless, 55, of Tomahawk, was arrested Monday on a fugitive from another state warrant. Deputy Chris Kidd made the arrest.
James R. Carter, 59, of Warfield, was arrested Saturday in Warfield on a warrant for court. Constable Bradford Preece made the arrest.
Kendra Preece Farley, 45, of Lovely, was arrested Friday in Lovely on a bench warrant. Deputy JC Kirk made the arrest.
Jamie Crigger, 43, of Kermit, W.Va., was arrested Friday in Lovely on three bench warrants. Deputy Kirk made the arrest.
Billy Ray Maynard, 64, of Lovely, was arrested Friday in Lovely for theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others under $500. He was also charged with criminal littering. Sheriff Kirk reported Maynard had a cheater pipe installed where his water meter had been pulled and “had been stealing city water for a period of time.” The sheriff also reported finding a large illegal dump at Maynard’s residence.
Clarence Mills Jr., 45, of Tomahawk, was arrested Friday in Warfield on a bench warrant out of Johnson County. Deputy JC Kirk made the arrest.
Calvin Fletcher, 63, of Inez, was arrested Thursday in Inez for alcohol intoxication in a public place. Deputy David Adams responded to a domestic in progress and found Fletcher in the front yard by the road arguing with his wife. The police report states Fletcher was “very unsteady on his feet, had slurred speech and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath, was combative and argumentative, wanting to fight” with Adams. Fletcher allegedly told the officer that he had been drinking all day and had drunk a six-pack in less than 30 minutes.
Allen Brewer, 44, of Kermit, W.Va., was arrested Thursday in Lovely on three warrants out of West Virginia. Deputy Kidd made the arrest.
Robin Grace Slone, 52, of Debord, was arrested Oct. 11 in Debord on a bench warrant for court. Deputy David Adams made the arrest.
Harold D. Moore, 61, of Debord, was arrested Oct. 11 in Debord on a bench warrant for court. Adams made the arrest.
James Harless, 55, of Lovely, was arrested Oct. 11 at Horn’s BP in Tomahawk for first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia buy/possession. The police report states that Sheriff Kirk found a glass pipe on Harless. While officers were writing a citation for drug paraphernalia, Harless allegedly attempted to dispose of a bag containing a clear crystal substance in the parking lot and advised the substance was methamphetamine. Deputy Adams made the arrest.
Johnie Moles, 38, of Warfield, was arrested Oct. 10 in Warfield on a bench warrant for court. Kidd made the arrest.
