Hello Cardinal Nation! This is Paige Maynard and Chelsea Jude. This week we have been super busy, from Senior Night with the Girls Volleyball to “Frozen Jr.” play practice. It’s safe to say our Cardinals have been working hard!

Our football boys played West Carter in a home game Friday night, with the theme of Pink-Out for breast cancer awareness. Our Cards won for the first time since we moved into this district.

Last week, Martin County schools returned from fall break, and our students have been working diligently to get back into the rhythm of being back in school.

Our two senior volleyball players, Hannah Robinson and Kirsten Wells, had their senior night Oct. 10, where they played Tug Valley High School. We are so proud of our Lady Cards and how hard they have played all season, and we wish them the best of luck going forward.

In other news, the cast of “Frozen Jr.,” the musical, has been announced, with Dovie Harless (freshman) and Paige Maynard (senior) cast as our leading ladies, Elsa and Anna. A full cast list has been posted on the MCHS Facebook page for those of you who are interested. Break a leg, Cardinals.
