Russell T. Maynard

1970—2022

Russell T. Maynard, age 52, of Inez, passed away Oct. 11, 2022, in Hazard.

Born March 5, 1970, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ella Fletcher Stepp. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by one brother, Dewey (Dolly) James.

He is survived by two brothers, William (Tracie) Messer and Tommy (Nellie) Messer, both of Inez, and one sister, Sharon (Glen) Johnson, also of Inez. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, at the Vineyard United Baptist Church, with Richard “Doc” Maynard and David Bowen officiating. Burial was at the Pack Cemetery, under the direction of the Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
