INEZ — Bryson Osborne and Brody Howell are members of the Martin County Middle School football team. During eighth grade night Saturday, the pair made a few big plays in the 32-0 win over Floyd County.

Osborne took the opening snap from his own 36-yard line and stiff-armed a Jaguar defender before being tripped up at the opponent’s 36-yard line.

He took the next handoff and went into the endzone for his first career touchdown.

Brody Howell also had a big play in the victory.

Howell received a handoff and swept to his left. A Jaguar defender approached Howell for the tackle, and Howell barreled through with his head down and sent the Floyd County player straight to the ground.

Howell took off and carried the pigskin for 50 yards for a touchdown.
