Robert Michael Moore, 35, of Debord, was arrested Thursday in Debord for hindering prosecution or apprehension, second degree. The police report states that while Deputy Adams attempted to serve an active warrant on Stephanie Howell, Moore assisted her in hiding in an old vehicle in the junkyard. The deputy stated he observed Howell standing beside Moore as he pulled into the driveway. He lost sight of both as he traveled up to their location. Adams advised Moore that he saw Howell but Moore replied that he had not seen her for two or three days. The officer located Howell hiding in an old red jeep near where he saw the two standing.
Robin Grace Slone, 52, of Debord, was arrested Sept. 21 in Debord for assault, fourth degree (domestic violence) no visible injury, menacing, resisting arrest and third-degree terroristic threatening. Deputy Adams responded to a complaint of a verbal argument between Slone and her boyfriend, Harold D. Moore. According to the police report, Slone was screaming and yelling when the deputy arrived and would not calm down. “Her son Jackie Haney, Ray Collins and Harold Moore advised that Slone was under the influence and trying to fight with everyone in the house but wasn’t physical at that time because they took her wishes away.”
The deputy reported that Slone’s son was going to take her to her house on Splitrock Hollow for the night until she calmed down. As Slone was getting her things, Moore saw her put his cellphone into her purse and asked her to give the phone back. Slone began yelling and cursing and threatened Moore. She then turned around and pushed Moore into a coffee table because he told the deputy the phone was his. The deputy told Slone that she was under arrest. When the officer grabbed Slone’s arm and attempted to place cuffs on her, she began pulling away and tried to shove him. The deputy got Slone down on the couch and handcuffed her.

The police report states Sansom was reaching under his seat and, when he exited the vehicle, had trouble keeping his balance. According to the report, Sansom failed the field sobriety test and stated he last used meth “yesterday.” The deputy reported, “Laying in my plain sight in the center console cupholder was a small, clear bag containing what appeared to be meth. Subject stated that was ‘the only meth in the vehicle,’ but he did state there were needles. Nothing further was found post-arrest search.”
