Class members in attendance were Bill Fish, Audrey Horn Ray Hall, Betty Hardin Monheimer, Chester Delong, Pat Bowen Preece, Nadine Spence Farley and Cletus Mills.

The classmates enjoyed a fun Friday evening filled with food and laughter between members, spouses and friends, followed by breakfast, an afternoon of shopping in Prestonsburg and a Saturday night dinner with an invocation by guest Mug Hardin.

Betty Hardin Monheimer, 1954 State Championship Team Cheerleader, led her class onto another winning evening by making the arrangements for the catered dinner and reservations for their evening of merriment and reminiscence. She created individual memory books for class members celebrating their cherished days as Inez Indians.

Classmate and State Championship Basketball team member Dale Moore was unable to travel to this year’s event.

Three weeks before the reunion, the class lost its leader and 1954 basketball team member Carroll Justice, who had planned many reunions in the past. In his memory, his wife Patty Poore Justice honored each class member with an engraved collectors knife from his company, Justice Glass and Supply.

The Class of 1955 lost its spokesperson and class leader Carroll Justice just two weeks before the reunion. Justice is shown representing the 1954 State Championship Basketball Team during the Coach Joe B. Hall and Denny Crum talk show at the KHSAA Living Legends recognition at the Sweet 16.
