Wanda Gale Bowen

1963—2022

Wanda Gale Bowen. 59, of Cumming, Ga., formerly of Kermit, W.Va., passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at the North East Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga.

Born July 8, 1963, in Williamson, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William Bowen and Junie James Bowen. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four siblings, George Bowen, Forrest Bowen, Tommy Bowen and Patricia Ann Bowen and one nephew, William Eugene Arthur.

Wanda is survived by two sisters, Lorene Bowen and Joyce Mahon; nieces and nephews Mickey Arthur, Vicky Preece, Tina Arthur, Joni Gillman, Olivia Boggs, Courtney Cooper, Alexis Starr, Patience Perry, Kendell Maynard, Austin Maynard, Travis (Debrina) Parsley, Michael Cooper, Justin Ooten and Donavan Starr; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, at the Callaham Funeral Home Warfield chapel, with Eddie Smith. Burial will follow at the Mahon Cemetery in Belo, W.Va. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home of Inez.
