Chester Setser

1938—2022

Chester Setser, 84, of Fairborn, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, at his home.

Born Jan. 22, 1938 in Inez, he was the son of the late Evert and Gladys Wells Setser.

Chester is survived by his loving wife, Carol Delong Setser of Fairborn, Ohio; two sons, Richard (Jennifer) Setser of Springfield, Ohio, and Timothy (Tracy) Setser of Fairborn, Ohio; and five grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers, Clarence Setser of Inez, Don Setser of Bay City, Mich., and Alfred Setser of Chapmanville, W.Va.

He was an avid outdoorsman and a wonderful storyteller.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022, at Callaham Funeral Home in Inez. Burial will follow at the Setser Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home 6-9 p.m. Tuesday. Arrangements are under the direction of Callaham Funeral Home.
