Harold Ray Goble

1945—2022

Harold Ray Goble, 77, of Inez, passed away at his home Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2022.

He was born May 21, 1945, to the late Sam and Docie Goble. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Brian Ray Goble; brothers, Alvis, Larry, Lloyd, Howard, Chester and Ralph Goble; and sisters, Shelby Howard, Linda Griffith, Donna Harless, Susie Fletcher and Elsie Goble.

Harold is survived by his loving wife, Linda Davis Goble; children, Larry “Mitchell” (Juanita) Goble of Louisa and Kim (Danny) Spence of Ulysses; grandchildren, Paul Brian Horn, Madison Goble, Adam (Chelsea) Spence, Marcus Thompson and Danielle (Matt) McConnell; and two great-grandchildren, Tessa Kate Spence and Micah Grace McConnell. He is also survived by one sister, Lou Ella Maynard of Inez, and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, 2022, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Roger Harless officiating. Burial will follow at the Goble Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home of Inez.
