INEZ — A Martin County grand jury indicted two individuals Thursday on methamphetamine charges.

Matthew Blevins, 37, of Warfield, was indicted on first-degree possession of a controlled substance. The indictment accuses Blevins of being in possession meth Aug. 4. If convicted, he faces 1-3 years in prison and a fine of not more than $10,000. Blevin’s bond is $5,000 cash.

Andrea Perry, 44, of Louisa, was indicted on first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession/use of drug paraphernalia, and speeding 25 mph over the limit. The indictment accuses Perry of having methamphetamine, a glass pipe and plastic baggies used to store controlled substances and of operating a vehicle 25 mph over the posted speed limit June 6. If convicted of the possession charge, she faces 1-3 years imprisonment and a fine of not more than $10,000. The drug paraphernalia charge is a class A misdemeanor with a possible penalty of not more than 12 months in the county jail and a fine of not more than $500. Her bail is $5,000 cash.
Martin Circuit Judge John David Preston signed arrest warrants for Blevins and Perry.
