WARFIELD-KERMIT — The Tug River “Tire Tug of War” is happening Monday and Tuesday.

The tire cleanup starts at the Warfield Boat Dock at 9 a.m. each day.

Friends of the Tug River Fork and the cities of Warfield and Kermit need volunteers to make the project successful.

The cities plan to feed the volunteers.

Since 2019, Friends of the Tug Fork River have removed over 5,000 tires from the river in Williamson.
