This week’s Mountain Citizen “Plays of the Week” go to Weston Jude and Julian Stafford.

With 3:30 left in the fourth quarter and a 34-13 lead, Weston Jude took the snap and knew exactly to whom and where he was throwing. Julian Stafford blazed down the sideline to the front corner of the end zone with a defender heavily guarding him. Jude wasted no time and sailed it to his receiver. Stafford was falling to the ground as he miraculously somehow pulled in the catch. His defender put hands on the ball and Stafford wrestled it away to give Jude his first career passing touchdown.
