Betty Wiggins

1954—2022

Betty Cave Wiggins, 68, of Inez, went home to be with the Lord Monday, Aug. 22, 2022, at her home with her husband Bert Wiggins by her side.

Born June 10, 1954, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Frances Dehaven Cave. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandchildren, Shelly Allen, Eric Allen and Chase Dalton.

Betty was a member of the Calf Creek United Baptist Church. She was a former teacher’s aide and secretary and worked at NASA and Westinghouse. She loved the Lord most of all and her family.

Survivors include her husband of nine years, Albert “Bert” Wiggins; son William “Bill” Butler of Glen Burnie, Md.; brother James (Sue Fraley) Cave of Bremen, Ohio; sister Nancy Sollers of Glen Burnie, Md.; nieces Deborah Cave Freeland and Kimberly Mayer; nephews James Cave and William Sollers; stepdaughter Holly A. Wiggins; and grandchildren Kenzie Sue, Bentley, Tarrah, Tessa and Emma Grace.

Friends may visit the Calf Creek United Baptist Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., with Maurice Mills and Joe Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Crum Cemetery on Calf Creek Road, Inez. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve Betty Cave Wiggins’s family.
