Musa Stroud
1942—2022

Musa (Sis) Stroud, 80, of Crum, W.Va., went to be with the Lord Aug. 17, 2022.

She was born April 3, 1942, to the late Willie and Rhoda Bragg Spaulding. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Jesse Stroud; two brothers, Bill Spaulding and Samuel Spaulding; and one sister, Freda Pettis.

Survivors include her daughter, Drema (Ralph) Perry of Crum, W.Va.; son, Gary (Angela) Stroud of Port Republic, Md.; two granddaughters, Chanda Perry of Prichard, W.Va., and Megan (Steven) Bailey of Avenue, Md.; three great-granddaughters, Jaycelyn Sammons, Alaina Bailey and Ella Bailey; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Musa was a lifelong and faithful member of Perry Point Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, at Perry Point Church on Jennies Creek Road, Kermit, W.Va. Burial will follow at Perry Point Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
