PILGRIM — The rain didn’t stop Wolf Creek Community Church and Facing Hunger Foodbank from distributing food to hundreds of families July 27 at the Pigeon Roost Community Center.
The two organizations, with the help of WCCC’s fearless youth group and community volunteers, helped 362 families to receive fresh eggs, potatoes, vegetables, fruit, three small rolls of ground beef and a box of canned food.
The next food box giveaway at the Pigeon Roost Community Center will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 31.
