WARFIELD — Stephanie Sheppard is the new cheer coach at Martin County Middle School.

“I am so excited to have been chosen to be MCMS cheer coach,” Sheppard said. “I hope to be a good role model and someone the girls feel comfortable enough with to lean on. My ultimate goal is to have them competing in cheer competitions.”

The new coach conducted a cheer clinic Monday and tryouts Tuesday.

Sheppard is the daughter of Melissa and Brian Jarrell. She is married to Doug Sheppard, and they have three kids, Sophie, Bryson and Charlotte.
