INEZ — Martin County freshman Devan Maynard has been invited to attend NBA player Chris Paul’s 10th Annual CP3 Rising Stars National Camp Aug. 19-21 in Greensboro, N.C.

More than 90 percent of past CP3 Rising Stars players have gone on to compete in NCAA Division I. These players have also showcased their talents in front of USA basketball, McDonalds, Jordan All-American game voters, and NCAA-certified scouting services.

Maynard is a three-way player that is long and athletic with a work ethic unmatched. He’s been playing for AAU team Rise N Grind Elite this summer. He recently led the team in four contests in Tennessee, averaging 20 points per game.

Maynard will compete against players from Canada, Australia, Europe and Asia. He will showcase his talent to top instructors and scouts at the camo.
