Kermit area woman reported missing by family

Brittany Horn Duff is missing from the Kermit area and there is a $1,000 reward for her safe return.

KERMIT, W.Va. — The family of Brittany Horn Duff of the Kermit area (Jennies Creek) has reported her missing, and they are asking for information from the public in hopes of her safe return.

Duff was last seen Sunday, June 12.

Duff is 32 years old, about 6-foot-1 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has long brown hair and blue eyes. She has the name “Sparki” tattooed on her neck, a star tattooed on her stomach and her kids’ names on each wrist, according to her brother Kevin Horn.

Horn said there is a reward of $1,000 for her safe return and $500 for any pertinent information leading to her whereabouts.

“Please, if you know anything, contact the local police agencies,” Horn said. “We are very worried and any information would be greatly appreciated.”

He said the Williamson detachment of the West Virginia State Police is investigating the case. Horn also talked to a Mingo County Sheriff’s Department representative.
