Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
The Bible does not attempt to explain God, defend God or discover God. The Bible simply states that in the beginning, God was already there.
Atheists must conclude that their belief that an accident began creation takes more faith than the Christian belief that God did it all. For one to believe that all creation happened by accident would mean that you believe in the greatest miracle of all time. Yes, an atheist would have to believe in miracles to believe that evolution explains how we got here.
How is that? For everything to have happened by chance without a creator, you would have to believe this miracle — that the switch to start it all turned on by itself. That’s like you walking into a room and waiting for the light switch to turn on all by itself.
Evolutionists believe that given enough time, the light switch will turn the light on all by itself. Now an earthquake might happen and cause the switch to come on. But the bottom line is that the light will never come on by itself, and it can’t happen by itself. There has to be an action, a cause for every reaction. That’s basic physical science.
That’s what atheists and evolutionists believe: something turned the switch on to begin life. They don’t know how it happened; they just know that it happened.
And they scoff at Christians for believing in a creator God? They laugh at Christians for trusting in God as our Creator and Savior? But on the contrary, their position is the one that’s truly laughable if it weren’t so sad. It’s actually tragic that so many believe this invention of man that serves only to usurp God and His authority. Evolutionists require much more faith than the Christian who believes in creation. At least Christians know who turned the switch on, but atheists and evolutionists haven’t any idea yet believe that it happened. That’s some faith.
