Rebecca Lynn Bailey Carter

1954—2022

Rebecca Lynn Bailey Carter, 67, of Lovely, went home to be with our Lord Thursday, June 16, 2022, while visiting her daughter in Crum, W.Va.

She was born Aug. 22, 1954, to the late Earl and Hazel Muncy Bailey of Lovely. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by son-in-law Joey Runyons and brothers-in-law George Robin Carter and B.J. Spence.

Becky is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Mark (Dog) Carter of Lovely; children Michelle (Eric) Brown of Crum, W.Va., Josh Webb of Huntington, W.Va., and Christy Runyons of Inez; grandchildren Brianna, Cory, Cody, Erica, Jason, Gracie and Susie; great-grandchildren Marlee and Sophia; sisters-in-law Sally, Linda, Angie and Rhonda; brothers-in-law James Spence and Curt Spence; and special friends Monroe and Judy Maynard.

Becky was a homemaker. She loved her home, husband, children and grandchildren more than anything in life. She also loved her dogs.

Becky lived just about her whole life in Lovely and loved the community and the area as it was home to her. She was a kind and loving person and cared about others.

Dec. 21, 2021, Becky gave her life to God and was baptized at the Perry Point Church on Jennies Creek in West Virginia.

She will be greatly missed here on earth by all who knew and loved her, but now can rest in peace with our precious Heavenly Father. Love always and forever, your family and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Mullins Family Funeral Home, with Joe Mullins officiating. Burial was in the Dials Cemetery on Coldwater Road, Inez, under the direction of Mullins Family Funeral Home of Warfield.
