Bennie Williamson

1949—2022

Bennie Williamson, 73, of Martin County, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Shelby Valley.

Born June 8, 1949, in Martin County, he was a son of the late Wallace and Shirley Rae Fraley Williamson. He is preceded in death by his siblings Oretha Phillips, Audrey McCort, Winford Williamson, Wallace Williamson Jr. and Minnie Stonerock.

Bennie was a mechanic and of the Jehovah’s Witness faith.

He is survived by his siblings Patrick (Nora) Williamson of Florida, Lewis (Linda) Williamson of Tennessee, Tennessee (Jean) Mason of Ohio, and Margaret (Tim) Coleman of Milo, and will be missed by his nieces Tammy Muncy, Gloria Workman, Wendy Haney and great-niece Memphis Muncy.

Acts 24:15: “I have hope toward God, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”

He will be cremated, and there will be no service per Bennie’s wishes. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
