Shirley Joyce Mills

1945—2022

Shirley Joyce Mills, 76, of Tomahawk, passed away June 5, 2022.

Born Dec. 29, 1945, in Paintsville, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Hinkle and Nellie Boyd Hinkle. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Ernest Mills, and her sister, Rowena Nunley.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Mills Kirk, of Tomahawk, and grandson, Marshall (MaKayla) Kirk.

Shirley was a member of the Tomahawk Freewill Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home, with Kevin Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Hinkle Family Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
