INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s office reported the following arrests:
Brandon Allen Jarrell, 37, of Warfield, was arrested Friday at Riverside Apartments on an indictment warrant. The indictment charges him with theft by unlawful taking or disposition $1,000-$10,000 and theft by unlawful taking or disposition $500-$1,000. Deputy Braxton McGinnis made the arrest.
Kristi Fletcher, 32, of Lovely, was arrested Friday on Route 292 in Lovely on an indictment warrant charging her with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), possession of drug paraphernalia and third-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified). Deputy Tyler Lafferty made the arrest.
Frankie L. Maynard, 46, of Pilgrim, was arrested Friday on Hale Avenue in Lovely on bench warrants from Martin District Court. Lafferty made the arrest.
Dalton Anderson, 30, of Tomahawk, was arrested Friday in Inez on an indictment warrant charging him with flagrant non-support. Deputy Billy Patrick made the arrest.
Kobe Bryan Davis, 27, of Beauty, was arrested Thursday in Warfield on alcohol intoxication in a public place. Lafferty reported that he responded to a call about Davis trying to fight with his family at a residence on Hode Road. The deputy says he found Davis standing on the driveway and smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from him. After giving Davis a field sobriety test, the deputy took him into custody.
Nella W. Maynard, 58, of Pilgrim, was arrested Thursday in Inez on an indictment warrant charging her with two counts of intent to defraud/scheme/artifice to obtain benefits over $10,000. Deputy Tyler Lafferty made the arrest.
Jeremy R. Maynard, 39, of Lovely, was arrested May 31 in Pilgrim on violation of air pollution standards and rules. Deputy McGinnis responded to an anonymous tip about someone burning copper on Dans Branch. The deputy says Maynard stated he brought the copper from his house.
“Sheriff Kirk told me on the radio to take him into custody and charge him for the burning,” McGinnis stated.
Benjamin Blackburn, 40, of Inez, was arrested May 31 at Horn’s BP in Inez on an indictment warrant charging him with bail jumping in the first degree and a bench warrant from Martin Circuit Court. Lafferty made the arrest.
Sinead A. McGinnis, 31, of Inez, was arrested May 31 at Horn’s BP in Inez on a bench warrant for Martin Circuit Court. Lafferty made the arrest.
