INEZ — A Martin County grand jury returned indictments Thursday against four individuals.
Those indicted include:
Nella Webb Maynard, 58, of Pilgrim, was indicted on two counts of intent to defraud/scheme/artifice to obtain benefits over $10,000. The indictment states that from Jan. 1, 2016, through Feb. 29, 2020, Maynard made a false statement or misrepresentation or failed to disclose a material fact that resulted in the approximate overpayment of SNAP benefits totaling $15,144. The grand jury also alleges that from Feb. 1, 2015, through Feb. 29, 2020, Maynard made a false statement or misrepresentation or failed to disclose a material fact that resulted in the approximate overpayment of Medicaid benefits totaling $56,632.50. Her bail is $10,000.
Dalton Anderson, 30, of Tomahawk, was indicted on flagrant non-support. The indictment states Anderson failed to pay child support to Bridget Preece from Aug. 1, 2014, through April 30, 2022, in an amount of over $4,568.68. His bail is $5,000.
Brandon Allen, 37, of Warfield, was indicted on theft by deception $1,000-$10,000 and theft by deception $500-$1,000. The indictment states Allen obtained two generators valued at $2,688 and a pressure washer valued at $699 from T&D Hardware of Warfield with a credit card/debit card registered to Riverside Apartment Complex. His bail is $5,000.
Kristi Fletcher, 32, of Lovely, was indicted on possession of a controlled substance in the first degree (fentanyl), drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance in the third degree. The indictment alleges Fletcher had fentanyl, a syringe and Gabapentin March 18. Her bail is $5,000.
