Freddy ‘Bob’ Bowen

1970—2022

Freddy “Bob” Bowen, 51, of Collins Creek Road, Warfield, passed away at home Tuesday, May 10, 2022, following a battle with cancer.

Born Aug. 11, 1970, in Lawrence County, he was the son of the late Denver and Doris Bowen of Tomahawk.

Freddy was a former employee of Clark Grave Vault Company, a member of the Baptist faith, and was Unit No. 107 for the Warfield Volunteer Fire Department.

Freddy is survived by his wife, Sarilda Bowen of Warfield, son Alex Alley of Warfield, brother Timmy Bowen and family of Hager Hill, sister Tammy (Leslie) McGinnis of Debord, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Lovely Freewill Baptist Church, with Joe Mullins officiating. He was honored with a last call and firefighter honor by the Warfield Volunteer Fire Department. Burial was at the Warfield Cemetery under the direction of Mullins Family Funeral Home of Warfield.
