William S. Gartin

1962—2022

William S. Gartin, age 59, of Louisa, passed away April 30, 2022, at his residence.

Born Aug. 19, 1962, in Louisa, he was the son of the late William Chester Gartin and Dona Sue Davis Gartin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Riley Franklin Gartin.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Dalton Gartin; one son, Adam (Brittany) Gartin of Louisa; and four brothers, Jerry Keith (Chrystal) Gartin of Amarillo, Texas, Michael Shawn Gartin and Larry Eugene Gartin, both of Louisa, and Chester “Jr.” (Sharon) Gartin of Hode. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Tristan Cole Gartin, Maci Grace Gartin and Riley Cooper Gartin, and special nieces Linda Sue Gartin and Megan Gartin.

William was a member of the Calf Creek United Baptist Church.

Funeral services were conducted at the church Tuesday, May 3, 2022, with Maurice Mills officiating. Burial was at the Gartin Family Cemetery, under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
