WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — The Mingo County Sheriff’s Department has made a second arrest in connection with the murder of a Delbarton woman.

Sheriff’s deputies said Alex Dewayne Likens, 36, of Ragland, W.Va., has now been charged in the March 31 fatal shooting of Teresa Harmon.

Deputies previously charged Chase Prater, of Williamson, 27, in Harmon’s death. Harmon was Prater’s aunt.

Harmon was found shot to death in her home at William Ann Camp, which is just outside of Delbarton.

Deputies say Harmon had been shot in the back of the head. They found Harmon inside her home, with the execution-style shot.

No motive has been given by the investigating officers at this point.

Both Prater and Likens are charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. They are being held without bail in the Southwestern Regional Jail.
