The Warfield Elementary volleyball A- and B-teams claimed the 2022 Martin County championships last week.

The Lady Devils volleyball squads are led by coach Carla Booth.

“I could take that same group of girls and win soccer, softball — it wouldn’t matter,” Booth said. “They are the most coachable kids around. Nothing but a joy coaching them.”

Warfield’s A-team dominated the tournament, defeating Eden in back-to-back sets.

Warfield Elementary’s Caylee Moore served 21 aces in the April 19 volleyball championship game against Eden. She served out an entire set, 21 points, helping the Lady Devils to the win.
Caylee is a sixth grader at WES and the daughter of Shawn Moore and Rachel Blackburn. Her grandparents are Bill and Cathy Chapman and Patty and Elbie Blackburn.

Caylee Moore served the whole first set, scraping 21 points in a row for the Lady Devils in the 21-0 win.
