Anglers make splash at Green River Lake

Martin County Cardinal anglers Caleb Horn and Aidan Burke reeled in 12.90 pounds for a fifth-place finish in the Kentucky Bass Nation tournament held Saturday and Sunday at Green River Lake. The event was the third and final qualifier for the KBN state tournament.

Martin County anglers Andrew Haney and Wesley Young pulled in 5.65 pounds and finished 17th out of 124 teams in the KBN tournament at Green River Lake this weekend.

Cardinal anglers Alex Bowen and Aaron Mills finished eighth in the KBN tournament. The team hauled in 10.70 pounds.

Martin County anglers made a big splash at the Kentucky Bass Nation tournament at Green River Lake over the weekend as three Cardinal teams finished in the top 20 out of 124, with only 50 teams weighing fish in.

The teams of Caleb Horn and Aiden Burke finished fifth in a battle with their haul of 12.90 pounds, while Alex Bowen and Aaron Mills reeled in 10.70 pounds to finish eighth, and Andrew Haney and Wesley Young pulled in 5.65 pounds to finish 17th.

Martin County anglers Harrison Jude and Peyton Cline finished ninth with 0.84 pounds in the youth division at the KBN tournament.

Cardinal anglers Tanner Young and Bailey Fletcher finished 26th with 4.01 pounds in the KBN tournament at Green River Lake.
