Education/Experience:

I have been dedicated to serving others my entire life. I started my public service as soon as I was old enough to become a junior firefighter. Since that time I have helped my fellow citizens during some of our worst events — floods, tornadoes and ice storms. As soon as I was old enough to volunteer for the sheriff’s office, I began doing that too, first for Sheriff Garmon Preece and then for Sheriff John Kirk. I have had law enforcement training and am a certified firefighter and an EMT.

Please discuss your qualifications for this office and why you believe you are the best choice in this election. (150 words or less)

I have not had any experience dealing with autopsies, but I have been around the funeral home business my entire life, and I do have love and compassion for the people who have lost loved ones.

As coroner, I will continue serving the public. Working with local, state and federal law enforcement, I will make sure that deaths caused by drug overdoses are investigated and those that supplied the drugs are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
