HINDMAN — Martin County Lady Cards lost their season opener 7-1 Friday to Knott County Central on the road.
Kaylee Osendott took the mound for the Cardinals.
Martin County jumped on the scoreboard first with a Skyla Messer in-the-park home run in the third inning.
Knott County Central’s Kayleigh Hall slammed an in-the-park home run in the third to tie the score at 1-1.
